About the role

You will run your trade on residential and light commercial jobs: reading plans, setting out, working to the Building Code and the consent documents, and coordinating with the other trades on site. You will mentor apprentices and sign off your own work to a standard the council inspector will pass first time.

What you will bring

Trade qualified (NZ Certificate or equivalent) with three plus years on the tools. Licensed Building Practitioner status, or the electrical or plumbing registration your trade requires. Comfortable reading drawings and pricing small variations. A full licence and your own tools.
