Canterbury Build Partners is hiring a Digger Operator to join our Christchurch team.

About the role

You will lead a small crew on site day to day: allocating work, checking quality against the plans, keeping the programme on track and liaising with the site manager, subcontractors and inspectors. You will run toolbox talks and own the daily hazard register.

What you will bring

Five plus years in construction with at least two leading a crew. Strong knowledge of NZ Building Code and site safety practice. Confident with digital site tools such as Procore or Aconex. A calm communicator who can hold a standard without raising a voice.
